Have you noticed everyone (mostly teens) has been landing JOBS.
Its a beautiful thing to see all of our young people mostly our urban young people who've been in gangs Jail nearly escaped DEATH been involved in numerous of things you could never IMAGINE.
It gets real raw and uncut in these streets all of our lives are like MOVIES.
So for me to go on facebook I see people excited cause they got a job, or I may just see people I haven't talked to in awhile they all say one thing They haven't been doing To much lately because they been WORKING.
Its good because with tons of companies hiring and taking our young people in to pay them & even myself they are giving us a chance to close the divide in opportunity & decrease the prison or death rate of young african american male/female or just urban youth PERIOD.
I can honestly say it makes a HUGE Difference then where most of us was the years before we got jobs.
I know multiple people that blamed the life they were given for why they are making foolish decisions & blaming their age to slack off & Mess up their future.
Allot of people chose to have bad lives & messed they're future off.
Then there's those who was born into something and had a messed up, upbringing which forced them to become a product of their environment turning to gangs crime fast money & drugs to make a living.
I feel like this is some sort of test by the government or something cause this is an unbelievable blessing. Although it is holiday season so that could be the reason why so many teens are being hired but its Still great to see everyone becoming productive on a positive tip due to becoming employed.
I can speak for myself and others my age we have a past yes we've done bad things and hurt people. However being granted the opportunity to reach our highest potential & strengthen our work ethic has not only given us a work history but has given us responsibilities something to call our OWN. Something positive to talk about and Legal money to say we worked HARD for the things we have.
Getting a job makes a HUGE difference in our lives especially in this economy and all the places that are welcoming us with open arms right to left.
